Midwest Estimating LLC is a Michigan-based firm specializing in insurance appraisal and umpire services, backed by a small team of experienced professionals with over 35 years of combined industry experience. Harold Beilby serves as the lead appraiser, bringing unmatched expertise in property damage assessment, claim resolution, and dispute mediation.
Harold holds the prestigious Certified Property Insurance Appraiser (CPIA) designation from the Insurance Appraisal & Umpire Association (IAUA), as well as HAAG Residential Certified Inspector credentials. He is a licensed independent adjuster across multiple states.
Before founding Midwest Estimating, Harold built an extensive career in catastrophe adjusting and quality assurance leadership. He led quality assurance operations for major carriers, managed total loss property fire claims, and trained field teams on complex claim processes across more than ten states — from routine residential losses to large-scale commercial catastrophe events.
Harold holds a B.S. in Business Management from Marian University, where he also served as College Football Team Captain.
